Videos we recommend

Youtube can be a great resource for finding educational videos (use screen time to its fullest by transforming it into an educational opportunity.) There are some wonderful stories out there.

Be prepared, your children will probably have questions, perhaps many questions. Don’t be afraid, these are important conversations we need to have with our kids. Be sure that you ask questions too and that you circulate a discussion. It’s healthy. These videos will spark curiosity in your children and help them gain a better understanding and perpective on what it is like to have something like a rare medical condition. With understanding comes compassion. With compassion comes exeptence and love.

After watching these videos take a moment to think about how you would feel to be on the other side. You will quickly realize that inside these children is a loving heart and a hero.
